CHARLOTTESVILLE – February 7th 2018 – Today Governor Ralph Northam, from the Commonwealth of Virginia, made an official announcement: “LIGHTHOUSE Instruments, a world leader in laser test and measurements services for pharmaceutical process monitoring, will invest $4.8 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Albemarle County.” With this investment we will build a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Charlottesville, creating jobs in the process, and helping us to continuously offer the best solutions for our clients.
Lighthouse has operated in Virginia since its founding in 1995. In his press release, Governor Northam refers to Lighthouse as: “This impressive company produces cutting-edge pharmaceutical equipment that will advance the industry and increase product demand, and we look forward to facilitating Lighthouse’s continued progress in the Commonwealth any way we can.” James Veale, President of Lighthouse Instruments, further states: “The central Virginia region, with its strong community colleges and universities as well as manufacturing support, has been an ideal place to operate to an advanced manufacturing facility.”
