Improving the Media Fill Inspection Process

Media fills are an integral part of parenteral manufacturing processes to demonstrate that produced vials are free of microbial contamination. Opportunities for improving and streamlining the media fill process is interesting, as it is currently a time and labor-intensive process. Lighthouse has proved that microbial growth can be detected rapidly and precisely in media vials by measuring changes in headspace gas concentration. In the flyer we present method development and validation data demonstrating this.
