Dr. Derek Duncan
Derek Duncan began his career at the Dutch Institute for Atomic & Molecular Physics in Amsterdam. He moved into industry holding Product & Application Development positions. Currently at LIGHTHOUSE since 2003, Dr. Duncan is responsible for developing applications for process monitoring and finished product inspection. These include using headspace analysis for 100% container closure integrity testing, lyo chamber moisture mapping, and automated media fill inspection.

 

Dr. Marnix Wieffer
At Lighthouse Instruments, Marnix Wieffer helps pharmaceutical customers with container closure integrity testing and oxygen analysis services using laser-based headspace analysis technology. Marnix has a solid background in science, business development as well as pharmaceutical project management.
As an Analytical Services consultant, Marnix is mainly working in central and northern Europe, supporting customers making informed decisions with science based packaging data.

 

Mr. Avand Amedi, MSc
Avand Amedi is the Area Manager for Northern and Central Europe at Lighthouse Instruments, specializing in laser-based headspace analysis equipment. With
expertise in applications like Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT), oxygen monitoring, and moisture determination, Avand provides tailored solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. He has a strong background in science based consultative selling, ensuring clients receive optimal analytical solutions to meet their quality and compliance needs.
