- Dr. James Veale
Jim Veale is President of Lighthouse Instruments. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Virginia in 1994 and founded Lighthouse in 1995. He developed the first laser headspace gas analyzer for use in the pharmaceutical industry. He has served on numerous industry committees related to container closure integrity testing. His research and business interests focus on developing pharmaceutical test and measurement applications using laser spectroscopy. - Tom Millner
Tom Millner is the VP of Sales for North America at Lighthouse Instruments. Tom has been at Lighthouse since 2011 and has worked in a variety of roles, including quality assurance, technical services, and in the application laboratory. Tom is responsible for the Lighthouse sales team in North America.
- Jay Rowden
Jay Rowden, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in analytical instrumentation, joined Lighthouse in 2018 as a technical account manager. With an MBA and an undergraduate degree in cellular and molecular biology, Jay excels in guiding customers across the US and Canada to optimal solutions for their headspace testing requirements. - Rick McDougal
Rick McDougal serves as the Regional Account Manager for Lighthouse Instruments, overseeing the Southeastern U.S. and Middle North America, from Mexico to Manitoba, Canada. With six years at Lighthouse Instruments and nearly 20 years of experience in scientific sales, Rick specialized in selling chromatography equipment and supplies.
- Kevin Stofflet
Kevin Stofflet is the Engineering Manager for Genesis Packaging Technologies. Kevin started at the parent company of Genesis (R-V Industries) in 1992. He has held many positions with the company starting as a Mechanical Engineer then Engineering Manager and Sales Market Area Manager. He has a diverse mechanical, electrical and process background across many industries including the Pharmaceutical Capper offerings of Genesis Packaging Technologies.
- Carolina González Gaitán
Carolina González Gaitán works as a Parenteral Packaging Scientist at Genesis Packaging Technologies. In her current role, she is responsible for the consulting department, where she designs package characterization studies and supports pharmaceutical companies in understanding sealing process principles and Residual Seal Force (RSF) fundamentals and in evaluating package selection. She has taught in courses offered by PDA on container closure integrity testing, specifically on RSF. She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Alicante, Spain.
